Bf109 G-4 in ILA 2012

Uh oh that could have been bad. Looks like the pilot was able to get her down alright though.

I have seen that same 109 fly a few times.

It is based and maintained by the Messerschmitt Stiftung at EADS in Manching, near Munich, Germany. I am sure that it is repairable.
 
Yeah I think it will be fine. Kudos to the pilot for recovering it.

that'll wake you up behind the stick! talk about instant pucker factor. glad he was able to recover. looks like he got hit with a gust of wind at the wrong time.
