I don't know how many of you guys own and play consoles, but here's another game from the guys that brought IL2 : Birds of Steel on Xbox360/PS3, and it looks very good !

Looks good, if it has good physics and a multiplayer aspect to it I would consider even buying a console for it.

It's really sad how little this game is known. With little to no advertising and zero support from the company to even get the game into stores, it flopped on first flight. Doesn't mean it isn't a great game though. On XBox360 anyway, it's by far bar none the closest thing to a real flight simulator we'll have on that console.

honestly, the cynical attitude of it being like a pre-alpha trick to test out some things for the "War Thunder" series I think is hogwash, but at the same time, them both being from the same developer, the similarities are there. Score, sound, a lot of the little stuff is the same. It's a really good game for those that don't have a PC.
