Very interesting. I think the most interesting thing is comparing what remains from when the original images were taken compared to the modern images. You can still make out housing blocks, roads, plant and stations etc in both images in each set. It's often surprising to learn how much actually remains from this period.

As above, people tend to concentrate on differences but in many images a lot is essentially unchanged.

jeez the thames is muddy.....great comparison shots. Some are unrecognizably different, others have many buildings remaining
