I have an old board game, Bomber by Yaquinto, designed by S Craig Taylor, who designed Flat Top.
You earn points for bombing targets and for shooting down enemy planes. Its sort of like a more complex version of the old Luftwaffe by Avalon Hill (Lou Zocci designed it). It consists of 30-minute turns, and each scenario is a day. It covers the 8th and 15th AF, England down to lower Italy, and east to Ploesti and north. Its best played a 7-10 day mini-campaign.

I have doubts about the points awarded to various targets.

My question is: How would I research what more accurate "point values" should be?

For example - there is a category "Ball Bearings". In the Game, Schweinfurt is worth a lot, but nowhere near 55% of the Ball Bearing points.

What I want is to come up with a good set of victory conditions for the US.
