Hope this is not too off topic:

The Defiant was rather damned in the Battle of Britain, but what if someone had the brainwave of stationing all of them in Scotland, where they wouldn't have had to face SE fighters. They might have worked pretty well even against Heinkels, like in THAT scene from the movie.
