BP Defiant turret weight?

Does anyone know how many kilos it weighted?

The Hawker Hotspur prototype which was built to the same specification as the Defiant never flew with a turret but was test flown with a wooden mock up of the turret and 600 pound/280 kilo of ballast to make up for the lack of turret. From this I presume the turret must have weighed a similar weight in the Defiant though wether this is including airgunner and ammunition I cant say. hope this helps.

According to R. Wallece Clarke, British Aircraft Armament, vol. 1: RAF Gun Turrets from 1914 to the present Day, it was the type A turret:
Weight empty: 373 lb (170 kg)
Weight armed: 621 lb (282 kg)
