Well doing my first jet diorama. Going nuts on this diorama. 1/48 Hasegawa F-104 , Daco update set , eduard Brassin wheels, Hasegawa Ground Equipment set. The Daco set is awesome and goes together really great and is a must have :)

Well 39 parts later and the surface control wing gloves are done. It was not that bad at all to make. Also pics of the awesome eduard brassin resin wheels :)

Looks great but I'm stupid. What's a "Daco set"?

Andy, it's a complete and relatively pricey up-date, detail and correction set for the 1/48th Hasegawa Starfighter, made by 'Daco'.

Thanks Terry. I thought it had something to do with those "gloves" on the wings, which is what I really was interested in.

Ah, the 'gloves', quite often full-length, are protective sleeves to prevent ground crew being injured by the sharp leading and trailing edges.

Re did the gloves on the wings. After Airframe mentioning the gloves should have been longer i looked at my Daco book and the should have been longer. DUH i should have looked at my book :) But much happier with it :)
