    Greetings everyone.

I'm a Jacksonville-based writer looking for people who served at Cecil Field during their naval service. This includes aviators, maintainers and base personnel. I'm especially interested in finding folks who trained or were based at Cecil during World War II. Ideas or contacts on how to proceed? Just drop me an e-mail at [email protected]. Thanks!

You might look into the CAF. They have wings and squadrons all over the country, and there are many WWII veterans in those units. A lot of the units have websites, and you can send a message to the site webmaster who can relay it through the membership. The CAF SoCal Wing gets requests like that occasionally and the webmaster is good about passing them along to the proper folks.
