Yesterday I had the occasion to go to Wikipedia to look for something about
the Lady Be Good. After I found what I wanted, McAfee's Anti-Virus program notified
me that I had "downloaded" a trojan. I didn't download anything from "Wiki".
The filename of this perp is WMEDIA106.EXE, and it's known as
"backdoor.coreflood". I did a "search" for the name, and it was found
in my C:\WINTT\System32 folder. (We're running Windows 2000). I
had not executed the program. According to Symantec, this program
is installed by someone who uses it to gain control of your machine,
remotely. Oh yea, I deleted the program, then dumped the trash.
Won't take but a minute to look for it, so I suggest you do so because
most of us use "Wiki"
