I've inherited this cockpit clock. It was my grandfather's who was a Canadian that flew in WW2. My understanding is that he flew in a bomber, I want to say mostly a Lancaster but I could absolutely be wrong. He didn't speak much about the war and my information came indirectly through my father who has since passed away.
I would love to restore this clock and keep in in the family for many future generations. I want to know more about it's history to pass along. Is there anything from the details on the clock to tell exactly which plane it came from?
I also have a flight log book from my grandfather and I'm wondering if I can match the clock information to any of the planes in the flight logs. Any information or advice would be incredibly appreciated.
