In case any of you don't frequent the Britmodeller forum, there's been a really interesting thread discussing some colour pics of 27 Sqn Blenheims that recently came to light in the LIFE image archive.

Great find , amazing shots plenty of shots of US a/c in colour but Brit a/c that early in the war is truly rare

Good stuff, and appear to be original colour shots, not hand-tinted with Eastman tints, or CG colourisation.

They're original colour. They come from a whole series of colour pics taken by Carl Mydans including some showing Army artillery (anti-tank, I think) and even one of the big coastal guns (the camo on that was interesting).
