Thanks all. Its one thing to read about these incredible men but see some of their actual possessions as well puts a human touch on the cost of it all.

Which version of the Stug III is this one?
I'm guessing the 'G' with the75mm StuK 40/L48 ?
I recall reading the Stugs were responsible for the most tank kills of all the German AFV's....(?)

You are correct, it is a G model that actually served with the Finnish Army. Littlefield's people painted it with the current decor. Yes, Stugs did account for more kills than all the other AFVs combined. I believe that ATGs still hold the record however (correct me if wrong). Yet everyone still yells "Tiger,Tiger,Tiger!"
