DC-3/C-47 Type Ratings

Even though I'm against paying for training to get a job (other than certificates), I'm willing to pay for a DC-3 type rating. Not that I'm going to use it, but I'd like to be able to fly the old girl. Anybody know who offers types in the Gooney? I heard there is a guy here in Florida, but I don't have any info. The guy with the Herpa DC-3 near Atlanta was arrested and am not sure if he's still doing training. Thanks.

Check with CAF chapters nearby, they have a few C-47s around. Also check with local aviation museums. Believe it or not, a lot of the air museums are short on pilots.
