Deleting your post

Hello Administrators,

I accidentally posted a reply that I would like to delete. Not being tech savvy, I can find the edit icon but cannot find a menu icon to delete it. Can you help me out?

Only Mods can delete

Just erase all the text and print "please delete"

That’s the one, thanks. I tried using the reply under a previous post and it came out a little wonky. Actually the one before was too, I just turned it into a salute to the OP!

Only admins/mods can delete if you highlight the post requiring deletion it will happen.

I think my reply comment being inside the box of the referenced post was odd. I will follow the above procedure for requesting delete. Re B-26 Marauder pictures - “that’s a big crew!”

Re do the post correctly in the "compose post" window, but instead of hitting "post reply" copy the whole post, then go back to the original post and use "edit" clear all the original post and paste your new version.

Before the age of the computer I used to use Tipex by the gallon. Be careful when using the "quote" function not to delete any brackets or full stops in your reply.
