When I read some memoir, I can find some grid coordinate from their tactical map. For example, 10 feb 1944, Walter Oesau shot down a B-17 at PQ FO-4, and a P-47 at PQ FM-FN. "PQ FO-4" and "PQ FM-FN" is the coordinate of Luftwaffe tactical map and every time I read that kinds of coordinate, it makes me confusing! Where the f...(hmmm) is that place?!
So I tried to find those tactical maps but still I cannot find anything. I have "Day fighters in the defence of the reich - A War Diary" of Donald Caldwell and this book have the part of maps, but it show only northern France, Be-Ne-Rux, and northwest of German.(Anyway it is great book as reference.) I want to see the eastern front, north Africa, and Italy.
If anyone who have those maps or know where can I get or buy it, please notice me. It would be greatly appreciated!!!
You can see the map I said above here - RLV Jägergradnetzkarte
