Just finished covering the fuselage and tail ass'y with tissue. They've been spritzed with water and are drying. Here's a couple pic's of the covering in progress. The green and yellow tissue was suppose to be used on the A.C. Racer, but I elected to use left-over white tissue. Like most modelers, I save everything ! More pic's after everything dries.

I'm done for the day, but I got quite a bit accomplished. Got the fuselage tail feathers covered, one coat of the 50/50 mix applied, and attached the nose piece and the tail ass'y to the fuselage. Tomorrow the wings !!! Oh... the first two pic's are the same, one with and one w/o the flash.

Has anyone any info on the cockpit interior color ???

Toiled on the bench today, and got both wings constructed. While I'm sanding and doping, I'll be constructing solid balsa wing tips.

The plans are so large and cover both side of the sheet, I just Xerox'd the sections I needed and worked from them.

Thanks, Bill, I just happen to have some.

Working on the solid balsa wing tips, tonight. Got one partially shaped and attached, and am sanding on the other.

Edit: 1940R... finished both wingtips, and have given each one coat of sanding sealer. Have one laying right on top of the plans so you can see how it will look.
