I will look for some lead foil... where I don't know yet, but I have time to look.
The cockpit is devoid of lots of stuff and I have tackled the Open door! Flat as on the inside. Some styrene and a scalpel have done some rough detailing.

I have gone after the cockpit. Up on the overhead part of the PIC top window is covered by a sloped circuit panel, so I have been sculpting that from styrene as well. Next post.

I've done a circuit breaker pane; above the pilots seat. It covers a bit of the overhead glass. A little fiddlly to do this one.

Okay,
just finished a computer component rack, and another cover at the big door. Been hard at it today. Styrene again. Also the sidewall supports at the back of the doors. The white piece across the top of the ceiling, in the above post, locks into the ends of these foe the upper skin support.

Next the crew seats, just have to put the backs on the frames.

Annie says I should sculpt the red bags by the door!!!!!

I do a heap of yes dears!!!!! Now she wants to do another F4U, and cmoflage it, in three colors, I think pink is one ofem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So last night and this a.m. I have forged ahead on the armor plating on the port side interior, and taking the back pad off the pilot seats. In the photo with the ammo cases you can see the plating behind them. In the cockpit photo you can see the curve of the armor plate of the seat back. I just gotta curve the top of the headrest, didn't notice that till I took the picture.

I sailor on.

I've emailed you Bill and there is something that may be of use to you on it's way. Inspirational work as well old chap.

That's amazing Wayne.... I need the ? sleeve? track?

I took out the instrument panel today, it doesn't fit the kit part. It indicates to modify it. In looking at what needed to be done, I chose to make one from scratch. I kinda like my result.

tomorrow I will post some of the rotor and pilot seats mods.

I sailor on.

*The grey panel is from the kit.
