Thanks everybody, and in keeping with the spirit of the decaling, here is my new hero...

...not me, but it is something I would have tried in my younger days. Might have helped out with the rockets. Picture was originally posted on ARC.

That decaling looks simply great Bruce a nice clean finish. As for the larger man, oooh for days gone by!!!

OK, decaling is done ( except for the rockets and canopy ). I applied a light oil pinwash to the panel lines using Burnt Umber and attached the drilled out exhaust. I decided not to get to wild and crazy with dirtying it up as it was a post war machine at a land base with a reserve unit. Most likely stayed fairly clean. Now I need to mask, paint, decal and attach the canopy. Still working on those pesky rockets.
