Slow but steady progress on this one -

What do you blokes think about the top colour?The kit calls for Light Ghost Grey which I have applied but it looks a tad dark to me
I know this was a very early variant of the F7U so maybe the more familiar navy gull grey was introduced at a later date?
I think it looks ok personally (it's not as dark as it looks in these photos)but I would like some clarification if anyone can assist?

Tony, my Crusader is recommended for Grey - FS16440 and looking at the current FS36440 this also seems to be a bit on the dark side to me so I'm opting for a US Gull Grey, Humbrol 129.

Added some hydraulic hoses to the landing gear.The tamiiya tape will be sprayed white to blend it in.
