Well I have the cockpit done up and ready to install. I have enought PE bits and pieces left over I may use on the Airfix number if I decide to do it as well. As far as the Hasegawa kit there are no internals for the inlets, just a vacant hole so I made some ductwork to fill the voids in the wings. I made them out of plastecine and then made a mold and cast them with smooth on casting resin. A bit of cleaning up but they should fit the part.

Ah. thanks. I didn't realize that "smooth on" was the brand name. I though it was some kind of brush-applied resin which would have been interesting.
 
Great idea with the inlets Graham!
I used Shrink tube for one I started a long time ago (before stuffing up the paintwork...)

Nice work on the cockpit too.

In the "why didn't I think of it dept" after sanding and trying to fit my casting. I tried your idea with the shrink tubing. Fortunately I have tons of it in my box. Works like a hot dam and way less brain pain ! Thanks !
