Dear modeler friends, you are all really very kind and I am having a hard time telling you what happened to the model.
In an attempt to bring out the metal with peeling I ruined the work done. Maybe the too much paint and aging with the oil colors blocked then by the transparent created too much thickness that I had to cut hard to make it come out.
So clumsily I scratched the model too much and so the "shrimp syndrome" hit me again and I had to go back.
So I stripped almost the entire model and then redid everything in a slightly "lighter" way.
I also changed the canopy using a resin copy of the ICM one, which I find more correct.
Now I'm back to the point of creating the peeling. But first I will go on holiday to Southern Italy and then I will face the obstacle.

That is indeed a sad tale but looking at the refurbished model you have made a wonderful recovery, so well done. To which part of Southern Italy are going!
