Well, it is time....................... if this one can be moved to the latest ZOMBIE build would be much appreciated.

Meanwhile, I have adjusted the decal at to work at 1/48th, and the red stripe that outlines the blue.
Have the blue painted The steps follow. First it's all white, polished Alum inside the wheel door, and the top of the flaps!
GB64-44.jpg
Next, I printed the side pattern and cut it carefully with a Sharp knife.
Then taped it in place to the side of #6. Cut thin 1.5mm strips of tape and followed the paper, care-full-y!
Now This little Godhand, $$$ grooved sheet would be difficult to make. But for trimming Accurately it is a must.
GB64-45.jpg
I cut tape in 8 and 9mm circles, scalpel and steel template, for the corners.
Glass is one of them Godhand things, $$$$. A small piece of tempered, Toughened, glass will do!
GB64-46.jpg
Covered the lot with copious amounts of tape. I do use Frog tape for Big areas, but I do use Tamiya to hold it down!!!!!!
Painted away with our Aussie SMS languors. Dries while I clean-up the old Old OLD Paasche airbrush!!!!!!! BAM.
GB64-47.jpg
So now it is Blue and White!!!!!! Everything is painted. I do have the crew list for the Outside gear doors. I will attach them.
I still have to mimic the windscreen tho? May use a metallic, Maybe pol Alum, dunno.
GB64-48.jpg It's gettin there! Now I wait for decals!

So now What??????????????????? It must be me! I can't imagine Airfix getting bits *%#@*!
So you can see by my handwritten notes the problem I ran in to. I musta done somethin wrong.
My solution; 1 & 2. drill a hole in each big enough for the outside of a sleeve, (4).
Drill a "snug fit" hole enough for 3, the too F'n short prop shaft. It has to be a bit tight for everything to spin.
However 3, has to be Short enough for the Hub to fit in the prop hole. It is about 3mm long!
#3 sleeve is glued in the hole of #1. Then the Prop spinner is the attached to the backing, #1.
What a schimozzle!!!!!

I have all the other bits painted, decals should be on the way. All set to getter done for the end of GB66!

Nice work here, Bill. You know that the Racer used a P-51H Aeroproducts propeller, and not the cuffed H-S shown here? Also the original did not have aileron trim tabs, as the designer did not believe in trim tabs on a go fast machine...

Hey Bill...I've got these bad boys spare if you need them. (ICM 1:48)

Thanks for the offer. I actually have a Resin set, but decided the reason for this build is appearance of the plane.
I did the sign work on the tail, the name in white on the rear fuselage and shadow of the 6 and touch-up in other areas.
I did not do the Name on the nose or the crew names on the wheel door., I have to make that clear. It's a professional thing.
