Seeking any Dumbo rescue logs, diaries, info, or photos re loss of my Uncle 7/13/1945, William Herbert Pearce, Gunner, 792nd 468th 58th Wing, B29 ditched on return flight to Tinian, Pilot Irwin Stavin. 2 perished, including my Uncle. Most all of his other records lost in the St. Louis fire, sadly. There was one published photo of the rescue in one of the war time magazines of the time, apparently. Thank you!
