Hi Roman, thanks for the very interesting link. However, the 100th I refered to was RAF Bomber Command 100 Group, a specialised unit, equipped with various aircraft, including, B17's, Lancaster, Halifax and Mosquio. Their role was electronic counter measures; basically, jamming or decieving the enemy's night-fighter radar and communications systems, both ground-based and airborne.

Oh yeah, my mistake...
Anyway, off topic, we´re puting the plan for the 65th commemorion together now so in 2 weeks I´ll send you the program...try to give me some details on your arrival and departure dates so I can make the hotel reservation for you and Karl.
I´m looking 4ward 2 our meeting!

Will do Roman, soon as I can.
Alex, 101 was one of the Squadrons within the Group. They used Lancasters, equipped with 'Airborne Cigar' rcm equipment, and also carried a normal bomb-load. The B17's, however, had their bomb-bays filled by a huge, cylindrical 'Jostle' transmitter. I can post some pics if anyone's interested.
