    I want to start this Thread with some engines in the MTU-Museum in Munich.

    At first a BMW003E which was installed in an He 162:

    Thank you for the images. These are very nicely restored and kept clean. You don't run across that all the time. Seems to be a very nice museum. I'd love to visit sometime.

    The continuation with pictures from the Deutsches Museum in Munich.
    A warning for someone who is planning to visit the museum. From October for about one and a half year, the aviation department is closed for renovation.
    All exhibits will be dismantled. Some will be shown in the Flugwerft Schleissheim, the other will be stored.

    A good idea. But be sure, it´s open. It opens only four days a year.
