    Has anybody read 'Lightning Boys' or 'Empire of the clouds' yet?

    I haven't read them myself, wanted some opinions first. I love the EEL (as much as you can love a post-war bird) so i'll probably pick that up first, but the price tag is a bit much so i'll see.

    If the price be considered dear and you wish to make the consideration if the text is worthy of a permanent place on your shelf use your library card. Perusing the text on an ILL (Interlibrary loan) will, no doubt, be decisive. The down side to this means is a restriction on texts newer than one year in consideration of the authors. Regards

    Just returning to tell UK residents that THE WORKS are currently selling the hardback of "empire of the clouds" for £3.99! Incredible. I snapped it up immediately. Half the price of a paperback!
