Hi all,

In the above photo of F-100A s/n 53-1553 on display at the South Dakota Air and Space Museum, the a/c is wearing the distinctive SEA-style camouflage finish.

My question is this: Does anyone know if F-100A aircraft actually recieved this camouflage scheme later in their service lives, like later Super Sabres (F-100C & up) did?

Thanks

I went through 11 books and not one "A" model in camouflage and this includes "A"s in Taiwanese service. Not saying one may have accidentally received camouflage but for now I'm saying no colours were used on the "A" mode on purpose. My final reply to this subject
Do you know if any of the F-100A photos (excluding those of Taiwanese aircraft) in those "11 books" were taken during/after 1965, when camouflage was introduced for USAF aircraft?
