FAA Corsair I Canopies

Which canopy did the Fleet Air Arm "Birdcage" Corsairs have? There is one with a bulge and one without a bulge, and I'm trhinking they had the bulge as I've seen pictures of them with it, but was also told that they had the non-bulge ones. Can anyone help me out?

There were 95 Corsair Is delivered to the RN starting about mid year 1943. They were roughly equivalent to the F4U1. I have photos of some of them and some seemed to have a slight bulge in the top panel of the "birdcage" canopy(about the size of a crash helmet," and some did not.
