OK ... let's hijack this thread and run like teen ding-dong ditchers ...
A fellow glider flying friend was competing in the World Championships down under.
As usual, he was stretched out under the back of the canopy, shoulders in line with the wing leading edge. While circling in turbulent lift, he felt something rubbing on the back of his neck, and reached up feeling a soft tube moving between the wings. Swiveling his head around, he finally spied the tail of a greenish brown snake disappearing into one wing.
Nervously, he completed the flight, undoubtably very distracted. They tore the ship apart, shaking and looking into all nooks with mirrors, lights and probes.
No snake found.
He asked a native if it was likely poisonous.
Didn't like the reply. "Here, they ALL are poisonous!"
