Last September I posted a (crappy) pic of the Testors F4 Phantom that I had started.

Well, I finally finished it (as far as I care to, it's not my favorite model).

Here 'tis.

Thank you. Yes, it's straight from the box. I spent more time filling gaps and scraping, filing, and sanding seams, etc.

Testors are decently priced, but they make you appreciate the obscenely priced kits more.

I was at an airshow here when i was a kid at fairyhouse racecourse, there was an RAF Phantom doing a display at it. It did a mach 1+ lowpass at about 50 feet! Afterwards it was on the news that it broke windows around the area! Apparently there was bit of a mixup, the pilot was told not to go lower that 50 meters, not 50 feet.

It's something I'll remember till the end of my days.
