Entry: P-40N in RAAF.
Kit: 1/48 Hasegawa P-40N

Accessories; PE set, exhausts, gear doors, and decals. Probably some scratch details. Scratch? Nah, just cut the control surfaces loose this time.

Leonard Victor Waters, Australia's First and Only Aboriginal Fighter Pilot. The story is too lengthy, so I am posting a link to his unique story. This may go to the HARS Museum, even if it's for just a short time. His story just need to be in public view.

Finally fini.............. I hated making it a bit dirty, It's a pain in the Royal Arse. Nevertheless here it is!

Now keep in mind, the reference picture I worked from had overspray on the prop blades. It looks like one of my frequent screwups, but this one is legit!

Unmasking?
covered up?
The glass wouldn't be shiny if it was masked.

A section taken from the photo submitted.

Here's Black Magic (lower pic) and another Kittyhawk (upper pic). See the transparent section behind the pilot's seat. For a time, the canopy framing was also aluminum which I understand was an effort to locate water leaks. Not sure. Anyway the canopy has clear view section behind the pilot, not just the sliding canopy section.

Cheers

Peter

I should have cleared it with the judges if it was within the rules of engagement to re-shoot and re-submit after the closing date.
