Kit Revell 1/72nd scale Lancaster BIi/BIII.
Accessories.None, OOB with some minor scratch-building.
I finally managed to hold the camera long enough to get some shots, although they aren't brilliant - I'm afraid I couldn't move my lamps to where they were needed, and had to use flash for some shots, hence the washed-out or bright colours!!
There are a few areas I'm not too happy with, not least the mid-upper turret. If the Revell instructions are followed, then the turret 'dome' ends up sitting about one to two millimetres too high, and the method for installing the guns could be better. I've again dislodged a front gun, which is now slightly out of line. Still, if I ever build this kit again, I now know how to correct these areas!
I thought this build was never going to end, and it shows with the final work, where it was becoming harder and harder to manage things due to my bl**dy hands being so stiff and painful!
But hopefully Peter, the pilot's Grandson, will like it, as that's where it's going!
Thanks for all your encoureagement and kind words.
