1/48 Spitfire Mk Vb, 31st FG, USAAF, England 1942 - Aircraft in Foreign Service GB

    Kit: Tamiya Spitfire Vb
    Scale: 1/48th

Here is my American Spitfire. Not perfect but I enjoyed the build. Really needs some weathering but I ran out of time and confidence.

Still raining and had to do the best I could with the camera. Hope they will do.

    Cheers,

    Great work Dave!

See if you can adjust the position of the undercarriage though, should be raked forward.

    Thanks guys.

Had trouble getting her to sit right. Now I look at it again maybe I have got the legs on the wrong sides? They are not glued so will check when I get home from work.

    David.

Yep, was thinking that too Dave. (You'll need to switch the gear doors when you switch legs too!)

Undoubtedly the main landing gear has been attached inversely. But there shouldn't be any problem with correction of it. Anyway the model looks very nice.
