Been here for almost 2 weeks attending a twin otter maintenance course. 2 times in the sim, pretty fun!

Oh - and got to fly in an L-29 that belonged to my friend, Martin Mattes.

Going to be glad to get home!

Cool. I've been stuck behind my desk the whole time.

But the market's been going nutz so it has it's good side too.
 
Got to tour the Bombardier facility, saw the Q400 and Global Jet line. Neat plant, historical facility, Mosquitoes were built there.
 
Heading home this morning, currently at the airport. Mentally drained and missing my girls, can't wait to see them later today. I have a new appreciation of the Twin Otter, great aircraft with very well thought out and simple systems, and its STOL capability is outstanding for the size of aircraft it is.

Here's the 3 birds I work with, again a new found appreciation for this aircraft.
