The Netherlands
Hello,
I have found some parts of a Short Stirling MK3 (BK722) that was crashed in the Netherlands in June 1943. This aircraft exploded in the air and three crew members were killed in action. There are some numbers on the aluminum box casting (2702 and 230...). Anyone who has an idea to which part of the plane these relics belong to?

I guess it will be possible to determine the red painted (folded) round object and the steel (rusty) bold.

I can't help with most of the pieces, but the rusty hexagonal part may well be an incendiary bomb fuze. Keep it wet. Call the authorities. Don't get blown up. raf incendiary bomb - Bing images

Thank you for your comment I was not aware that this could be a fuse, although it seems not to be complete anymore, I will for sure give it a safe (outdoor underground) place to stay.

I went back again and found some more relics: aluminium fragments, pieces of mika (glass of the cockpit/gun positions) and probably 2 intact incendiary bombs which were reported to the local police who will send the military services to remove them.

I also found a photo of the crew on this last flight ("LESWEFORGET"):
