GB 41 Pacific Theatre of Operations from 1937 (including China war from 1937)

GB#41 starts Feb 1, 2019 - ends June 2, 2019.
I know it's a bit early to start a thread for this GB#41, but I have a request.

GB#21 was the last PTO build and I started an F4f-3 Wildcat build for Carl Davidson, Wake Island.see
1/48 F4F-3 - Pacific Theatre of Operations II

I only made a few minor posts for this GB and have never done any more to it thru all my health issues and moving back then.
So I am humbaly requesting an allowance to re-enter this build back in to GB#41 PTO.

Any thoughts or suggestions as to what you want to see tackled for the next build?

B-17 with those whacking great 10's in the tail, puleeeeeze!!!. Never seen one build yet

EDIT: or maybe not, Decal options say #10 was in Hollywood

Airacobra, for something not oft seen.

I have a Doolittle B-25 or an early Dauntless.

That's "Mary Ann" the B-17 that was used in the movie "Air Force". It was in NMF in the movie and later camouflaged. I have a picture of it somewhere in the camo.
A cool plane to do with that model would be "The Swoose" an early B-17 with a very interesting story which is now in the Air Force
Museum's restoration hanger waiting to be restored. It's the oldest B-17 in existence

Sure.

Which makes another possibility for me; Hawker Hurricane Mk XII s/n 5389 which is the subject of our soon to be completed restoration. It patrolled Canada's west coast with 133 Squadron RCAF in 1943 and as a fire balloon buster in 1944.

Here's some pictures of "Marry Ann" My memory was wrong, she was painted in OD in the movie. The first picture is from the movie wile the second was taken some time later.

Why not?

I think I have the Swoosh. If I recall, Mary Ann was based on the Swoosh. If you need I think I can supply the Swoosh from the Academy kit.
