The Second one, but I am partial.
CV-5 Yorktown, "The Fighting Lady"
CVA-10 had the RR tail code during WWII.
I was on when it was CVS-10 1962-3 cruise.
And me being but four years old. I went through the Yorktown at Patriot's Point near 25 years back. She was in Sad Sad shape. I doubt they h sd ve done much to fix her up but I hope the have. The Lexington down Corpus Christi way is in much better shape, but she was the last Essex class retired if I recall correctly.
