Set the fuselage and wings together, not glued just to get an idea. When I apply the second coat I will lighten the olive drab a bit as it looks a bit dark to me.

The crack in the canopy is quite noticeable so I will try to cover it up with some Future wax.

Good stuff. Good luck with the Future. In my experience, it won't hide the crack but might give a slight improvement.

I just watched a new video on the Military Aviation History channel on the P-39. Not that it would inform you guys on anything you don't already know but there are quite a few "interior" shots of a restored P-39 including the cockpit. Some of our modelers might find it enlightening.
