This is from GB-47 D-Day and has turned into a zombie post as well. I started this in word weeks ago. I have the fuselage assembled and I'm ready to start the basic painting. I'm leaving as much of the delicate bits off till much later. This has apparently only 2 cannons because the outer further back has two options for the muzzle. One is what is expected with a barrel opening, the other and what is called for, is a smooth round cover. But looking thru some photos and there is an example of a 2 cannon Spit. The next thing I want to try is to differentiate between the hard demarcation between the upper paint and the underside, and the soft line between the upper pattern. I'm going to use thin rolls of putty which I'm not sure I'll do again. It is very delicate and I'm going to do one side and then the other. It is so easy to loose track of your thumb.
