Just came a cross this group build and gave me a reson to start the Tamiya P-38J i picked up in October at out IPMS contest . Mine will be in the markings of the 382nd FSDouble Troube II. First things i did tonight and cut the kit rudder pedals off and glued them to the Ediard look instrument panel . Cockpit and nose gear bay ready for paint now :)

Finally got some spraying done toight , Cockpit color is a Mr color mix of my own , Wheel well sprayed with Tamiya LP-11 Aluminum. Next to hand paint the interior details before gloss coat and wash :)

Finally making some progress on the P-38 . Spent the night applying wash , clear flat and dry brusing to the wheel wells and cockpit . I used the Eduard look instrument panel which is well worth it . Next to finish assembling the cockpit and start gluging the center section together :)
