Yes. The belly turret was aimed by a periscope.

Yes, the belly turret was metal, painted in the underside colour. Note that there was a sighting window between the guns which may be etched on the kit part.

Looks very dynamic, I want to do this basic setup sometime as well. I know that in real scale, the plane would probably be 3 or 4 feet above the ship, but in this context, I think that the bombs should be much closer to the target. At the speed it's going, they are look like they are going to miss.
