I am more than sure that you solve it wonderfully, I have no doubt, you could fill that with a bit of epoxy putty, a light coat of sandpaper and paint... to say something, I'm sure I repeat, you solve it more than enough

Problem solved my friend, stuck a thin bit of plastic over it today and trimmed it back. All cleaning up is done and if I get the wings o tomorrow, well bw all ready for a spot of spraying.

Surface primer on and after a night drying nicely, well go to the next phase. This is the wing mounter machine gun version, you can just see the barrels popping out of the wings.
