Thing is, the cockpit assy has holes in the framework that match Pins on the sidewall of the fuselage. This is the result I got mating these. Not a factor with resin replacement.
Good stuff so Far Bill, and yes, the escape hatch on the starboard side wasn't hinged. It was a "knock out" panel, released by a lever inside and then jettisoned.
I have been sneaking in some work, now and then.
Firts my gun shroud cover, some card to fill the gap.
Then used some of my spru slurry to fill some sinking.
Now this resin cockpit, WTAF????? I have already removed about 2mm
from the bottom of the assembly and look at the Bloody gap!!!!!
Wheel well tops inside the fuselage, other arrow is the bottom of c-pit!
Doesn't anyone else have these issues?????????????????????????
Well done Bill and as we say here in France: "Je ponce donc je suis" => "I sand therefore I am"
As said by Andy, This is part of the "joys" of this passion
Well so far I have THIS.............................. the bottom of the cockpit floor!
and I am Still 1mm shy of getting the wing tops to align wit the fuselage!!!
I am getting a bit perturbed by it all....................
