The manufacturer in parentheses is the original tooling. My current thoughts on schemes are a USAF Vietnam, Navy and Japan's Last Phantom.

Here is the decal sheet I got, mostly because I wasn't keen on the German scheme. Not a huge selection from Hannants as I recall so got the only F-4 Phantom sheet. It is F-4 Phantom in Vietnam sheet with 9 USAF birds and 1 Navy. The kit decals were not that great for the middle box. A few years back I started a 1/72 Japanese F-4 for GB-51 in a different "Last Phantom" scheme and the masking for that broke me. This one is all white with the eagle as a decal.

Despite the Phantom being in my top 5 A/C of all time, My record on building one is rather poor. I started a 1/48 back in the 70's and while a good kit, it was too complicated for me at the time. In the 80's, I built a collection of 1/72 Israeli jets and finished one for that.

How cool is that the RF 4C that appears in the instructions was sold to Spain and is now placed in a roundabout in Mostoles (Madrid), which curiously I had in mind to do it in two decorations, one side the American one and the other the scheme that the plane has in Mostoles....

Do you have a picture of that? Can't find anything. I have a circle cutter so maaaayybbbbeeee.... I can mask a Spanish roundel.
I just sent an email to a friend who has like 1 billion photos (it's metaphorical) of airplane photos. He's working right now and he doesn't pick up the phone, so as soon as he answers me and sends me photos, I'll pass them on to you. The ones I have are copyrighted (by this friend) and I don't want to be a jerk... but I'm sure he'll give me permission to pass them on to you and any others he sends me... I'll let you know.

I have been looking for you while you can answer me this page where you have the decals of the Spanish RF4 c so that you have it as a reference...
