As I have already written in another post, the Starfighter F-104 is the aircraft that made me dream more than once in seeing it fly and so I take this opportunity to build one together with all of you, hoping to honor this aircraft that has remained in the hearts of many of us Italians who are passionate about flying.

Here I am.
Back home I started to put my hand on the 104.
The kit entices you to build it from the box for the beautiful details it has, but having collected many resin accessories I tried to make the best choice for some details.

Starting from the passenger compartment, I can say that it could be fine like this, for the side consoles and the instrument panel even the side walls are detailed, but the resins offer a little more especially in the rear wall of the seat. However, it should be noted that in the piece of the kit there is the plate for the exit from the bottom of the seat (used only by the first models, but also remained present on other standard aircraft
Another detail that can be improved using both the kit piece and the resin part is the avionics cover behind the pilot

Here the starting area is more correct in the kit while the end area is better in the resin set.

In short, along the way I'll see what to do... In the meantime, I duplicate the resin pieces that I will then need for the other kits I have.
