Spare decals to show a machine apparently at Rechlin (to fit into my collection).
Replacement parts for missing bits (if they are needed- see below).
Other than that, one, just a wee bit of concession to my fading eyesight and eye-hand co-ordination, and alternate decals.
I got this kit as a steal on eBay because some parts have been removed from the sprues, and there are possibly a few missing photo-etch and metal bits.
I can confirm that the two kits appear to be from the same masters, but not that the sprues are identical. The instructions appear very similar, so I went with the Trimaster kit to build, leaving the Dragon one to either keep or sell.
I dug through my stash of decals, and found a set that I like, but unfortunately not a Rechlin machine.
Eagle Cal EAG48134 has this:
'Green 4' Ta-152 H-0 W. Nr. 150010 originally 'Yellow 4' 11./JG 301, assimilated into Stab JG 301 and flown by Obfw. Walter Loos on 24, 25 and 30 April 1945. This Ta-152 H-0 is the only known survivor and is currently in storage at the National Air and Space Museum. Markings provided for both 'Yellow 4' and 'Green 4'.
Let's hope I can do it justice, as it's such a significant airframe.
Great choice ! My 1:72 version the colour call outs are a bit lame. it looks like RLM 81/82 over the fuselage and RLM75/82 over the wings. Am I reading that right ?
