Horsa 1943 note the date and the white stripes.

If the Testors model kit box is to be believed, the stripes are actually yellow and black.

Yup, I agree, the Horsa is a training example, the underside markings were common on training gliders, as per this GAL Hotspur glider.

The glider looks like a Schempp-Hirth Gö-3 Minimoa also known as the Göppingen Gö 3 Minimoa. Judging by the cockpit hood it is a model made after the June 1936. The registration D-9-487 indicates the NSFK Gruppe 9 Weser-Elbe area with the headquarter in Hannover. It is the registration used to June 1943. But it is said that there were kites retaining the old markings until 1945. I may be wrong but there should be the Nazi swastika in the white disk at the red band around the fin and rudder.
