Well, last night I got pulled over for the first time. I thought the circumstance of it was funny.

Anyway, I was coming home from work at 2:30 in the morning and it was about 3 o'clock that I got pulled over...directly in front of my house! Turned out I was pulled over because of a busted license plate light.

The second I saw those lights I couldn't help but laugh because when I drive to Austin with my parents my mom keeps telling me that someday I'll get pulled over for going too fast! But nope...first time I got pulled over it was in front of my house for a light instead of on the highway for speeding! No ticket thought, so all is good I guess.

So what stories do you guys have? What was the first time you got pulled over for?

Was driving my fathers car, pulled over for doing 10mph over the speed limit. Cop was a real jerk too, kept insisting that the car was registered in my name when it was not. I had never owned a car let alone had one registered in my name at that time. Could't get over how big of a jerk he was! I've been pulled over several times in my driving career, and was always courteous and polite and never had a problem save this guy, Felt like kicking him in between the up-rights, but figured that would make him an angry jerk!

About twenty years ago, I was back 'up north', visiting my parents. Anyway, a Police car pulled out of a side road as I passed, followed me for about four miles, including some turns at junctions and traffic islands, then pulled me over. Mr. 'Plod' walks up to the driver's side, indicates that I should lower the window, sticks his head in and says, 'Hi mate, how you doing? Haven't seen you for about twenty years'! Turns out it was an old school friend and one time neighbour, who had joined the Police, then done a stint with the Hong kong Police for a few years, and, as I'd moved from the north, I had lost touch with him!

I got a ticket for an expired inspestion sticker, no money. The officer never filed the ticket. Pissed me off. I left work early and did not get paid. The next time, it was from a hot lady officer at the airport angain no inspection sticker and I did no thave my insurance card with me. When I showed up for court, she did not bother to put a date and time on the ticket and it was thrown out. I wish she showed up for court. I was stopped with a warning for no seat belt, I foregot. I was stopped doing 65 in a 50, again by the airport. I was given a warning because even though I was speeding the rest of traffic was passing me. The first time was when I was driving a van full of NCOs back for the NCO club and one spilled beer on me. The MPs grabbed me at the front gate for DWI. I got out of the one. My first exercise with the unit and I almost had to Rpt to the Division Cmdr.

having lived in the country and been driving cars, trucks tractors since was about 10. i remeber at 14 driving mom into town, (about 4 miles from where we lived) to get groceries. Didn't actually get a license until i was 18 as was finishing high school, went only in the morning and then went home in the afternoon. high school was about a 1/2 hour drive so Dad figured may as well make it legal and get a license. Got pulled over the very first hour I had my license. (they were looking for my brother who was a regular hell raiser. Cop said" oh **** another one".)

I talked my way out of ticket with a female police officer by asking her out on a date (this was years ago). She accepted. We dated a few times and had some fun. I wouldn't recommend that as a method of getting out of a ticket though. My buddy tried it and damn near got his tased.

Well, I did get pulled over a few months ago. A car looking like mine was driving around this section of town, the same time I was leaving from work. No ticket, but it was quite a new experience.

Only ever been pulled three times. First was going the wrong way down a one way street, one was for a dodgy number plate and the third as my car had been flagged for no insurance (I did have some). On all occasions a few quick words and I was on my way, no harm done

I was driving to Brownsville Texas from my home in Niagara asi was passing through a town called Italy Texas I was pulled over for speeding ( My speedometer said different) so they hauled me off to see the Judge.
and here is the exact wording of the trial
The cop said" Neil S of Niagara Falls Ontario Canada this Judge Mike Boyd"
Judge Boyd sayS "Neil S of Niagara Falls Ont Canada we have a complaint against you for speeding How do you plead?"
I replied because of my Speedo "innocent"
Judge Boyd says "Neil S of Niagara Falls Ont Canada We will hold you in custody until we can get a jury"
I then replied "guilty"
The Judge then says "Neil S of Niagara Falls Ontario Canada the fine is $10.50
I asked if they took Amex Cheques
The Judge replied "Neil S of Niagara Falls Ont Canada we do not" they then gave me a police escort to the local bank to cash the Cheques and an escort back to court
I paid the fine but then the judge wants to talk . He says he passed through Vancouver back in the 50's and met so and so do you know him .
Niagara falls is 3000miles away from Vancouver and this guy wants to know if I know some guy from this city of over a million folks .
In short it was Neil S of Niagara Falls Ont Canada meeting Boss Hawg

Not a cop pullover story, but back in the 70s I pulled out well in front of a guy, who it turned out was barrelling down this old Roman road in Lincolnshire. He followed me for over 70 miles up the A1 and when I pulled over to drop my mate off, he pulled in behind, cussed at me for a bit then got back in his car and headed back the way we had come.

My first one was for speeding doing a 65 in a 55. My friend that was with me told me to take a back road. I have never taken it before and I asked if it was ever patrolled alot. He said no. Well, right as I was topping a hill there was a state trooper sitting there. I pulled over and he only gave me a warning as it was the day after Christmas. He told me it was his present to me and not to speed any more. 2 years later i got a 79 in a 55 and had to pay a 140 dollar ticket.

Don't remember the first time, but I got pulled three times once on the way to work. I hadn't done anything wrong, but they were looking for some guy who had shot a cop. They were pulling everybody. Cop lived and the culprit is still in prison, I suspect.

Just last year i was comeing into laurelville Ohio, and comeing across the bridge is 55mph, but 20 feet after the bridge is 35, mph .The town cop pulled me over for doing 54 in a 35 ,he said he clocked me on the bridge ,I told him the 35 sighn was after the bridge, anyways went too court with photos and got the ticket dismissed. Now they have the 35 mph sighn before the bridge , since i live close too that damned town, i see the cop alot, so i simle at him and wave, he just looks pissed of at me , but I dont care , One for the little guy who pays this jerks paycheck!!!!!
