Gunze paints + Tamiya acrilics thinner

Has anyone tried to use Tamiya acrilics thinner (X20A) to thin Gunze paints?
Any problems or work fine? I could not find the brand thinner around here and I want to finish a model over the long weekend...

Never used Gunze paints, but can't see a problem, given that they are acrylic also. Acrylic paints can be thinned with alcohol-based thinners, and that's what the Tamiya thinners seems to be, judging by its smell. I rarely use acrylics, but have used both water, and isopropyl alcohol. to thin various brands, without problems.
 
I used both thinners indifferently with both brands, without any problem, but recently I found that de-mineralized water works may be better as per thinning acrylic paints for the airbrush and I use branded thinners only for the final cleaning of the airbrush or if I need to thin an old paint to be used with a brush.

I did it a go and used Tamiya X20A thinner with great success!

here are the photos of the paint job using Gunze H54 thinned with Tamyia X20A thinner more or less 2:1 ratio (two thinner to one paint).
