Gurkhas Win Right to Stay in UK

Apologies if this is a repost, did a search but found nothing. The Government recently announced that Gurkhas would not be allowed to settle in this country or be given the same pension rights. There was such a public outrage that the government have performed a complete u-turn and will allow any who have served for 4 years or more to have UK residency. Damn right I say, everyone who fights for a country should be allowed to live there!

the goverment completely misjudged public opinion about the ghurka's, but it took them far to long to come to the right decision.
